Jennifer graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota, with a degree in Political Science and German. At St. Benedict she was the President of the Pre-Law Society and Captain of the Mock Trial team where she was awarded, "All-Region Attorney" through the American Mock Trial Association.  Previously, she worked for the Donald McNeely Center for Entrepreneurship where she was awarded, "Honorary E-Scholar."  She studied international relations at the University of Salzburg, Austria.  Then she worked at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina where she published an article concerning the 1992-1995 genocide.
